While this entire website is written through my anarchs-feminist lens, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the way academic capitalism and the politics of success operate in relation to feminism.
You have to better understand how to fight capitalism to understand how to fight patriarchy – they are inherently linked –
Without explicitly discussing neoliberalism or saying what it is we must still acknowledge that it is inherently linked to everything discussed
who controls the curriculum and what is discussed in the classroom; who decides what can be researched and what an academic can say; who controls the university and who has the power to make decisions
Everything has been realigned to the markets – we cannot think about social justice without thinking about economic growth –
Once again, we must ask: Does education act as social mobility?
