Student Reflection #1

  1. One of the problems of higher education is having English as a second language because reading and writing becomes difficult. Also, sometimes people look at you weird because of accents. This definitely has an impact on your development as a student. However, I do not think these experiences are universal.
  2.  I think the education has been worth the price for tuition, but I think the school could provide way more opportunities, specifically in internships.
  3. I do not have a definition for success because everyone has different goals so their definition will be different. However, for me success is doing what you like, even when many people oppose it and it can get sad. In that sense, I think I am successful.
  4. I think I have handled the pressure of college well. I never started drinking or doing drugs because of college. However, I did get depressed sometimes and I would not leave my room. I do go to counseling for personal reasons but talking to someone about my issues and the pressure I feel from school definitely helps to be happier.
